Hodnet Hall Gardens online: information and bookings
Spring arrives early with the first crocuses in February, then hyacinths and early azaleas surprise with bursts of colour. Daffodils begin to appear in twos and threes and as the climate becomes warmer the yellow carpet spreads out further and further. Bluebells shimmer in the gentle breeze of April, and magnolia trees blossom along Magnolia Walk.
Rhododendrons and azaleas, the perfumes of laburnum and other flower shrubs burst upon the senses of sight and smell, and seem to go on forever.
When you feel its not possible to take in any more natural splendour, slip away into the cool green shade of towering forest trees, sit and watch the ducks and swans gliding effortlessly over the surface of cool water.
Visitors are welcomed between Easter and September on special Open Days from 12noon to 5pm. Lunches & teas served in the Tearooms. Evening parties welcomed (pre-book).
