Situated outside the beautiful Cotswold town of Painswick, the garden is a fascinating step back to the flamboyant English Rococo period. This gem of a garden, which was originally laid out in the 18th century, is set in a hidden Cotswold valley with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

We serve coffee, light lunches and teas in our Licensed Coach House Restaurant. Food is home cooked and when possible we aim to use produce grown in our own Kitchen Garden. The Restaurant is open at the same times as the Garden. However you are very welcome to partake of refreshments even if not visiting the garden.

Weddings and Conferences
WEDDINGS
We are delighted to be able to offer couples the opportunity to undertake a civil ceremony in some of the Garden's unique buildings. We also welcome 'Baby Naming' ceremonies.

For those searching for something a bit different, why not try.

THE EAGLE HOUSE
The top storey of this romantic building is available. Only large enough for the bride, groom and witnesses, it can offer a setting, we believe, unmatched in the country.

THE RED HOUSE
Still awaiting some restoration work , the Red House provides an ideal location for couples looking for a more rustic location. It has proved by far the most popular building, partly due to the lovely vista the bride can walk to the wedding. It offers space for the bridal couple and eight guests, although we have had up to 150 guests watching the ceremony from outside.

THE ORANGERY
The newly built Orangery will accommodate 70 people. Situated near the entrance to the Garden, it has easy access for the disabled.
