The Guildhall Gallery is situated above the Tourist Office in the Winchester Guildhall building and provides a professional exhibition space accommodating practising artists and talented local amateur groups. The work encompasses nearly all artistic disciplines: contemporary paintings, sculpture, carvings, ceramics, photography, craft, decorative and applied art. The exhibitions change every three weeks.

In addition it displays an annual selection of the City’s topographical collection of oil paintings, prints and drawings of Winchester and district from Winchester City Council’s collection. In the gallery lobby at present there is an exhibition of Winchester’s City Civic Treasure: The Edmeades’ Silver Collection. There is also a small selection of art card and prints on sale.
