Palace House Museum online: information and bookings

This 17th century building, carefully restored by the Council in the 1990s was the Newmarket home of King Charles II when pursuing his love of horseracing.

Palace House has hosted many temporary exhibitions including paintings, crafts and clothing. As the building is also home to Newmarket´s Tourist Information Centre, it has the benefit of attracting passing visitors.

There is a variety of rooms available for hire to accommodate exhibitions, events and meetings of varying sizes.  The building is also licensed for conducting civil ceremonies.

If you wish to book for an event, exhibition or function please contact Palace House directly who  will provide you with details, availability and prices. You can then send the completed  booking form together with your payment to confirm the booking.

In case of alteration, please check prices, opening times and any specific important information before booking or visiting
