Discover hidden Exeter with one of Exeter’s Red Coat Guides. Fun and informative walking tours are available throughout the year (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Tours are free with no booking necessary, and the majority last 90 minutes. Tours start from outside the Royal Clarence Hotel in Cathedral Close or from the Quay House Visitor Centre on the Historic Quayside.
There are over 20 tours to choose from including Exeter Through The Ages which explores Exeter’s past from Roman times to the present day, and Cathedral to Quay which starts at picturesque Cathedral Close, takes in the City wall and ends at the Historic Quayside.
