The Lake is calm and comfort epitomised. In the richly furnished lounges fine antiques, beautiful paintings and sumptuous sofas beside log fires combine to make visitors feel like guests in a Welsh country home. In the award-winning candlelit restaurant food is complemented by an outstanding list of over 300 wines. Guests can fish for trout or salmon on four miles of the River Irfon which runs through the grounds, the three acre lake regularly yields trout of three pounds and over. There is a 9 hole par three golf course in the grounds, tennis court, croquet and putting. Horse riding and walking are both available in the surrounding countryside.
