Built circa 1760 as a hotel to provide accommodation for guests wishing to take the waters, Pannanich is situated in a rural position on Pannanich Hill over-looking the Dee valley just over a mile from Ballater. Externally Pannanich is a plain granite house freshened over the centuries. Internally Pannanich changes into a comfortable well appointed hotel + 2 self-catering cotagges on site and one larger cottage off site in the centre of Ballater. All hotel rooms are en-suite with shower or bath and shower, and, have all the usual room accessories. The hotel and Cottages are totally non-smoking. The small cottages are equipped to a high standard, with kingsize beds, ensuite bath rooms and stunning views across the beautiful Dee Valley and the larger cottage from high to luxurious standards, featuring a water bed, en-suite bath rooms with Jaccuzzi baths and showers and a first floor lounge with great views from a heated balcony.
