The Angel today continues a long tradition of hospitality dating back to the seventeenth century.
Though the roots of the business are ones of old fashioned hospitality the Angel is certainly up to date in every way. Its evolution from country hostelry to modern dining and accommodation has been achieved in recent years as part of our vision of what we want to provide for our customers.
We have created an atmosphere that fuses the traditional with the contemporary. Decorated in a style that is comfortable and tasteful without being stark or minimalist, the dining and bar areas have a relaxing ambience and are a perfect setting for eating and drinking.
The food offered is an eclectic mix of dishes chosen to provide our customers with a wide choice ranging from light meals and snacks to contemporary fine dining.
The varied menu uses fresh ingredients and sources locally wherever possible emphasising quality and creativity and achieved with the skills being developed in our kitchen.

CONFERENCES IN TOPCLIFFE, THIRSK
The Topley Conference and Banqueting suite is a dedicated purpose built modern facility with separate entrance foyer, toilets, public address/conference system and disco sound to light system.
The Topley Suite is an ideal venue for weddings, dinner dances, club dinners, anniversary parties and Christmas functions for up to 150 people. Conferences and seminars are held regularly for numbers from 20 to 100.
