The Brockencote estate consists of 70 acres of landscaped grounds surrounding a magnificent hall. There is a gatehouse, half-timbered dovecote, lake, some fine European and North American trees and an elegant conservatory. The estate dates back over three centuries and the style of the building reflects the changes which have taken place in fashion and taste over the years. The hotel has been owned and run by present owners, Alison & Joseph Petitjean for the past 24 years and has been awarded one of the AA’s top 200 hotels status and is England for Excellence Midlands small Hotel of the year 2010 and Worcestershire Life Restaurant of the year.
At present, interior combines classical architectural features with contemporary creature comforts. As in most country houses, each of the bedrooms is different: all have their own character, complemented by tasteful furnishing and decor. The friendly staff provides a welcoming, efficient, service & Head chef, John Sherry specializes in Modern French cuisine working with local seasonal produce.
