Scented Plants, unexpected vistas and glorious countryside combine to provide year round interest in this splendid 20th Century shrub garden. The garden achieves the vision of its creator Ralph Dutton, by uniting a formal design with varied and informal paintings in pastel shades. The house, which is lived in by a tenant family was restored after a fire in 1960 and displays Ralph Dutton's fine selection of Italian paintings and Regency furniture.
