Brigg first grew as a crossing point on the river Ancholme taking it's name from the bridge constructed to make east-west journeys easier. Sadly, its sails have been dismantled but the Mill owners, havee preserved many interesting features of the old building. The Mill interior and the adjoining grain sheds have been attractively converted into bars, restaurants and function rooms..
