Historic house and gardens, belonging to Lord Inglewood’s family since 1605, based on a medieval Pele Tower with substantial additions in 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. It contains fine collections of period furniture, tapestries, portraits and ceramics. Beautiful 18th century walled garden, 19th century topiary, 17th century dovecote and woodland walk with named specimen trees.
Gardens open daily (except Sat), 11am-5pm Good Friday - 31 October. House and Tea Room open Thurs, Fri, Sun & Bank Holiday Mons, 25 March - 3 April and 1 May - 2 October 2005.
