In the heart of the city, this fine Cathedral has been a centre of community life for more than 900 years and is the site of the shrine of St Richard of Chichester. Its treasures range from Romanesque stone carvings to famous 20th Century works of art.
Regular exhibitions, talks, lunchtime and evening concerts. Treasury and information desk in the Cathedral. Guided tours also available, general or specialist (history, art, embroidery, stained glass...) Please book in advance. Newly developed Cloisters Restaurant and Shop. Facilities available for those with disabilities. Parking nearby in city car and coach parks. Drop off point. Open summer: 7.15-19.00, winter: 01.15-18.00. Admission is free, donations appreciated.
