A busy traditional 16th century thatched Inn in the centre of this pretty Devon village. A lovely warm and friendly atmosphere awaits you together with an extensive and tantalising blackboard menu. All the food is home cooked with as many local ingredients as possible using high quality fresh meat, fish and vegetables. There ia an extensive wine list and local ales available. There are three dinign areas including a non smoking dining room. Log fires in winter in the Cotley Bar restaurant and the dining room.

We can cater for any occasion small or large and there is also a Skittles Alley that can be hired out for private functions.
We can organise any occasion from Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Wedding Anniversaries, Corporate meetings and events, Christening Parties or Funeral Receptions. You can meet with the Head Chef to discuss menu options for your event and our events organiser can take care of the rest.
A popular event is a games of skittles followed by a buffet or in the summer months a BBQ. Please contact us for more details. (Minimum numbers apply)
