The Brickwall Hotel is a charming 16th century Tudor Mansion in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
Whether visiting for a relaxing holiday, or simply coming for lunch, you will be well looked after by our experienced staff.
Overlooking the village green in the pretty village of Sedlescombe, The Brickwall Hotel offers Olde Worlde charm with log fires and beams, yet also the modern creature comforts of satellite TV and wireless internet.
With our light and spacious dining areas, and extensive car park, we can also cater for your special celebration or conference.
The hotel has a spacious residents' lounge, an oak panelled lounge bar and beautiful beamed dining room.
In an attractive setting in the garden, the heated swimming pool is open from May - September.
The Aldershaw golf course is 1/2 mile away, where we have arranged favourable fees for hotel guests.
The village of Sedlescombe is a focal point in an area of great beauty and interest. Nearby are the picturesque seaside towns of Rye and Winchelsea, whilst within an easy drive are the holiday centres of Hastings, Eastbourne and Brighton. Reminders of the historic significance of the Sussex Weald are close at hand, with such famous landmarks at Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle and Pevensey Castle.
