Large steam engines haul the trains through 10 miles of beautiful countryside between Alton and Alresford. The route takes you through Medstead and Four Marks, the highest station in southern England; and Ropley where the railway's steam engines are based. Our period restored stations and the steam engines recreate the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone transport era. A programme of Special Events take place throughout the year for all the family.
