Britain’s original and only natural thermal Spa

Thermae Bath Spa benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath.

Highlights, which are included in a spa session, are the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views, both by day and by night, over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath and an innovative series of steam rooms. In addition, there is a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages, which are designed to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. The Springs Café & Restaurant serves up a tasty range of meals, snacks and drinks.

The neighbouring Cross Bath, with its classic Georgian architecture, is an intimate setting for a special occasion or small gathering.

The Spa Visitor Centre depicts the colourful history, culture and traditions that grew around the most famous of Britain’s spa towns. An audio tour provides a fascinating tour of the surrounding spa quarter.

Thermae is open from 9.00 – 22.00 (last entry at 19.30) and offers a choice of 2-hour and 4-hour spa sessions. With no membership or joining fees, there is generally no need to book a spa session but we would recommend booking a spa treatment in advance. Thermae is not suitable for children under the age of 16. Towels, slippers and robes are available for hire.
